About Us

LINN Millwork was incorporated in January 1990 by Rick Koehn.  Rick started his construction career in commercial construction and later residential houses.  Rick started LINN Millwork after realizing the need for a quality, custom cabinet shop.

LINN was named after the turn table company whose philosophy is: "We don’t make anything unless it’s better than what’s available elsewhere. For us, “good enough” isn’t good enough. " - www.linn.co.uk

Here at our LINN, we couldn't agree more.

Over the years, the small shop started to specialize in commercial millwork and established a solid clientele.  In 1997, LINN Millwork moved into a 12,000 square foot building and invested in high quality, precision machinery.  In 2010, Rick started stepping back and passing the business over to his manager, Don Gustafson and daughter, Kasia Robinson.

Today LINN strives to provide custom commercial millwork to the growing Saskatoon market.  As members of AWMAC, LINN provides high quality products and services that we are continually developing to meet the needs of our customers.

SUSTAINABILTY

As a manufacturer of wood-based products, LINN Millwork believes in promoting the natural characteristics of wood.  Wood is a renewable resource and Canada is also home to the most certified forests of any country in the world.  Manufacturing with wood products contributes less air and water pollution than other building material manufacturing processes.

LINN is able to provide its customers with green options when it comes to choosing products used for custom projects. From recycled content to low emission products, there are a variety of options available.

In order to contribute to the renewing process of Canada’s forests, LINN Millwork donates a portion of its profits to Tree Canada.  Tree Canada is a not-for-profit charitable organization providing education, technical assistance, resources and financial support through working partnerships to encourage Canadians to plant and care for trees.  For more on Tree Canada, please see their website at https://treecanada.ca.
